RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif., PRNewswire-FirstCall -- Allstate Insurance Company is actively seeking eager California business people to become new exclusive agents in the state.
Successful entrepreneurs, and professionals who may face limited advancement in their current careers and wish instead to run their own business, are ideal candidates for owning an Allstate agency.
"We see a significant opportunity in the current economy to attract mid-career, mid-level managers to own and operate their own business and represent Allstate in California," said Allstate Sales Deployment Leader William Vazquez. "Through our own recruiters we're seeking professionals with financial or sales backgrounds who are dedicated to delivering Allstate's Good Hands Promise to current and future customers."
Candidates need a minimum of $50,000 of liquid capital to invest in their agency.
The stability of the Allstate brand and the equity interest that agents will own in their business makes running an Allstate agency more financially secure than other insurance agencies, small business start-ups or franchise opportunities.
"Allstate is unique among all other insurers because its agents own the economic interest in their business," according to Vasquez. "Allstate agents can grow the economic interest in their agency and eventually sell that interest if they choose. No other branded insurer has this option."
Allstate's statewide focus represents key consumer touch points in the broader strategy to expand its auto insurance presence in California, while strengthening its service insuring other popular vehicles like boats, motorcycles and recreational all-terrain vehicles. Allstate is currently California's third-largest auto insurer with more than 2 million cars and trucks insured. Allstate agents and their licensed staff account for thousands of California jobs.
Interested candidates can learn more about owning an Allstate agency by logging on to www.allstateagent.com or by contacting Linda Black, senior recruiting consultant in California, at (916) 859-8804 or Linda.Black@Allstate.com.
The Allstate Corporation (NYSE:ALL) is the nation's largest publicly held personal lines insurer. - I know here in Texas, Allstate insurance quotes are pretty expensive when compared with other insurance companies. There is a lot of pressure to be successful, especially from a "scratch" agency. Just be ready to roll up your sleeves and put in work.
