SALINAS, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 06/05/07 -- The Board of Directors of Pacific Valley Bank (OTCBB: PVBK) has elected Tom Ragusa Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer.

In addition to his current duties as Risk Manager, Compliance Officer and Security Officer, Mr. Ragusa has assumed management of the bank's Central Operations, Branch Administration and Cash Management functions. He is now also responsible for the management of core data processing applications and is PVB's Bank Secrecy Act Officer.

Mr. Ragusa has an eighteen year career in banking in the area of operations, administration, compliance and risk management. He joined Pacific Valley Bank prior to its opening in September 2004. Prior to joining PVB, Mr. Ragusa had been with Coast Commercial Bank, Monterey Bank, in addition to Tokai Bank of California and PFF Bank and Trust in Southern California.
