BlueTarp Financial Inc. will provide credit and financial services to 230 members of the Independent Builders Supply Association Inc.
BlueTarp, based in Charlotte, provides commercial-trade credit services to dealers and contractors across the United States.
Financial terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.
"IBSA members will benefit from this collaboration with reduced expenses and improved cash flow, and we are looking forward to seeing this endeavor flourish," says Rob Baker, IBSA director of vendor relations.
BlueTarp Financial, which also has operations in Maine, provides commercial trade credit services to more than 400 building-material dealers and 10,000 contractors.
Founded in 1977, IBSA is based in Smithfield, N.C. The member-owned organization seeks to purchase quality products at the lowest price. IBSA has 230 members with 355 stores in 11 states.
