NEW YORK, Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- AboveNet, Inc., a provider of fiber based connectivity solutions for businesses and carriers, today announced that it completed a transaction to sell its interests in three data center facilities located in New York City and Northern Virginia to Digital Realty Trust, Inc. on October 1, 2006. The purchase price for these data center facilities is $40,075,000.
