DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jackson National Life Insurance Company® (Jackson) today announced the launch of the Living Benefits Selection Center (LBSC), a Web-based sales and training tool designed to help simplify the process of selecting an optional living benefit, available for an additional charge, within Jackson's family of variable annuities. The LBSC enables registered representatives to get instant client-approved output based on a client's profile information after answering a few qualifying questions. The tool also features multimedia presentations, fact sheets and side-by-side comparisons of Jackson's optional living benefits.
"As the US retiree population continues to grow, more individuals are turning to their advisors for customized solutions to help them maintain a steady stream of retirement income," said Clifford Jack, executive vice president and chief distribution officer for Jackson. "As we continue to enhance our product lineup to meet the shifting needs of investors, we are also constantly working to develop new tools and resources that simplify the sales process and help advisors navigate the increasingly complex retirement planning marketplace."
Advisors can access the LBSC through Jackson's corporate Web site (www.jnl.com). After completing a basic client profile, the advisor is asked to answer a short series of questions regarding the client's income needs and preferences. The LBSC will then present a Jackson optional living benefit based on the information provided, and the advisor can download a printable fact sheet that outlines the benefit's features. The LBSC also houses several informative multimedia presentations that illustrate Jackson's optional living benefits in an engaging format.
Another helpful resource within Jackson's new LBSC is a comparison feature that allows users to compare any combination of Jackson's seven available optional living benefits side-by-side. An easy-to-read grid displays each benefit's cost and indicates whether the benefit includes a certain feature, such as spousal continuation, five-year step-ups, lifetime withdrawals, or an annual benefit increase.
"The multimedia presentations, fact sheets and comparison grids available within the Living Benefits Selection Center are valuable training tools for representatives who want to learn more about the various types of our optional living benefits, and also provide powerful visual aids to help advisors explain these complex financial concepts to their clients," said Dan Starishevsky, senior vice president of marketing for Jackson National Life Distributors LLC, Jackson's distribution arm. "We created the LBSC to make it easier for advisors to take advantage of the flexible design of Jackson's variable annuities so they can build retirement planning products that are designed to meet the individual needs of their clients."
