MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- BetterInvesting has elected five new members to its board of directors. The new directors were elected at the board of directors meeting held Sept. 4 in Washington, D.C.

These new members bring the board's membership to a total of 12 directors. The five new board members are:

  -- Roger H. Ganser of Madison, Wis./Venice, Fla., is founder and managing
     partner for Venture Investors LLC, one of the premier providers of seed
     and early stage venture capital in the Midwest.  He is the president of
     Wisconsin Venture & Growth Capital Association, and also serves on the
     boards of the University of Wisconsin-Translation Research Program,
     University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Foundation and the Medical College
     of Wisconsin Foundation.
  -- David Krause of Milwaukee, Wis., is director of the Applied Investment
     Management Program for Marquette University.  He is an accomplished
     author and speaker in the areas of investments and valuation, corporate
     finance, entrepreneurial finance, investment ethics and exchange traded
     funds.  He is currently the president of the board of education for the
     Jefferson School District in Wisconsin.
  -- Michael Roberts of Longmont, Colo., is president of First Nations
     Development Institute, a national American Indian nonprofit
     organization whose goal is to restore Native control and culturally
     compatible stewardship of the assets owned by Native communities
     (including financial and natural resources), and to establish new
     assets for ensuring the long-term economic vitality of Native
     communities.
  -- Steve Sanborn of Short Hills, N.J., retired in 2006 as director of
     research at Value Line, the nation's largest independent provider of
     financial information and investment advice.  He is a past recipient
     of the Distinguished Service Award in Investment Education from the
     Investment Education Institute of BetterInvesting.
  -- Julie Werner of Warner Robins, Ga., has been a BetterInvesting member
     and volunteer for nearly 25 years.  She travels throughout the United
     States speaking to investment clubs and organizations on investment
     education and the stock market.  She is a past recipient of the
     Distinguished Service Award in Investment Education from the Investment
     Education Institute of BetterInvesting, has organized more than 25
     investment clubs over the past 13 years and currently mentors clubs in
     the middle Georgia area.
