PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Lincoln Financial Group recently launched a newly redesigned consumer website, www.LincolnFinancial.com, offering numerous enhancements to create an interactive, personal experience to showcase the depth of the company's retirement solutions for consumers. The refreshed site connects to the company's new futureself branding campaign, which is changing the conversation in financial services by recognizing that no one knows what you want for your financial future better than you ... your futureself.
Through an innovative online experience, Lincoln Financial aims to start a conversation with visitors about their retirement destinies asking, "If your futureself could talk to you, what would it say?" Central to this conversation is educating consumers about the five core challenges people may face leading up to retirement and throughout their retirement years, such as fluctuating market investments, changing sources of income, keeping up with a standard of living, rising healthcare costs, and making the good times last.
"Our goal is to provide people with the means and confidence to successfully transition through their retirement years," said Priscilla Brown, Chief Brand Officer at Lincoln Financial Group. "Our commitment to enhance our customers' online experience will continue as we fully integrate the futureself campaign and add even more tools and information to allow people to engage and realize insights about themselves."
The redesign, currently in Phase One, incorporates newly enhanced branding, graphics and navigational tools that provide a comprehensive educational experience for both consumers and financial professionals alike. Offering expanded content and enhanced learning tools such as, "Understanding Income Management" and "Future Challenges," both found under "Planning Tools," the focus of LincolnFinancial.com is to engage users to better understand income management and the potential risks they face. The futureself television spots also have been added to site in the "About Lincoln" section under Advertising.
Featured throughout the website are virtual "notes from your futureself," providing advice and reminders about retirement planning and specific Lincoln Financial product offerings. In order to make the site more accessible to the average investor, content has been designed to flow from basic facts to more complex details. With personalization features such as on-board favorites, user-defined text size controls and a visual methodology to navigate through the content, visitors can customize their experiences to meet their needs.
"Our primary objectives for reinventing our website are to help educate and engage consumers by connecting them to specific retirement income solutions and deepen the relationships people have with the Lincoln Financial Group brand," continued Brown.
Additionally, Lincoln Financial presents a new "Life Transitions" portion of the website that offers tailored guidance and sound advice about various events that could potentially alter your financial future such as marriage, becoming a parent or unexpected life circumstances like unemployment, creating a strong tie back to campaign messages.
The significant web redesign was created in partnership with Electronic Ink, a Philadelphia-based digital design firm.
"Lincoln Financial took this opportunity to build more than a website," said Harold Hambrose, Founder and CEO of Electronic Ink. "LincolnFinancial.com is a true business system because it presents a clear understanding of goals, customer needs and brand objectives. The result is an online environment for existing and prospective clients that reflects the intelligence and sensitivity of this financial services leader. Electronic Ink is proud to have collaborated with Lincoln Financial on this important endeavor."
