(AIG), have launched a bilingual customer service call center specifically for Hispanic individual life insurance policyowners. Callers who dial the call center’s dedicated toll-free number, 1-800-835-6458, have access to bilingual (Spanish- and English-speaking) customer service representatives, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Eastern Time), to answer questions and assist with service requests on in-force individual life insurance – including universal life, term life and whole life – and individual supplemental health insurance policies issued by American General Life and United States Life, which are branded as “AIG American General,” the marketing name for the insurance companies and affiliates of AIG that comprise its domestic life insurance operations.
