Sydney, Australia (PRWEB) July 13, 2007 -- Rod Cross, a 16-year veteran with Westpac Banking Corporation, has joined Smart Ventures (a division of Community Financial Services Group) as their Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Cross, who will working as the second in charge of Smart Ventures (A Division of Community Financial Services Group), will assist the group with their specific leasing and financing needs with international banks and private equity investors.

Mr. Cross will be actively involved with the Japanese and USA markets assisting Smart Ventures to grow not only their own business, but that of their clients. Mr. Cross will also hold a position with the Venture Capital Division of Chapmans Limited a company Publicly Listed on the Australian Stock Exchange that Smart Ventures has an equity position in.
