NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The AIG Companies® today announced its crisis management coverages, including CrisisResponse® for Excess Casualty, PublicResponse(SM) and Accident Site Advisor(SM), have been revised where umbrella and excess casualty policies offered by AIG Excess Casualty® and AIG Specialty Excess®, now provide up to a $250,000 limit outside the policy limits to cover costs for temporary housing, travel, counseling, medical and funeral expenses. Additionally, insureds are allotted $50,000 outside of the policy limit to retain assistance from an approved crisis management firm.

In addition to providing first-dollar coverage, the crisis management coverages afford immediate access to the AIG Companies' claim specialists to assist in the management of a crisis situation, once a claim is reported.
