Tony Snow, former White House press secretary for President George W. Bush, will be the keynote speaker at the 12th annual Property/Casualty Insurance Joint Industry Forum, to be held Jan. 8, at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. Snow will be introduced by NAMIC President & CEO Chuck Chamness.
The Property/Casualty Insurance Joint Industry Forum, sponsored by the 15 leading property/casualty insurance trade associations, was created to provide property/casualty insurance and reinsurance company leaders with an opportunity to meet with each other to discuss topics of general interest.
The first panel will discuss the insurance industry from the perspective of those who regulate the insurance business. Participants include: Sandy Praeger, Commissioner of Insurance, Kansas; James Donelon, Commissioner of Insurance, Louisiana; Nonnie Burnes, Commissioner of Insurance, Massachusetts; Scott Richardson, Director of Insurance, South Carolina; and David A. Sampson, president & CEO, Property Casualty Insurance Association of America, who will moderate the panel.
A panel of insurance company chief executives will discuss general trends in industry services. Participants include: Evan Greenberg, chairman & CEO, ACE Ltd.; Thomas J. Wilson, president & CEO, Allstate Corporation; Ramani Ayer, chairman & CEO, The Hartford; Anthony Kuczinski, CEO, Munich Re America; Gerald Schmidt, president & CEO, Mutual of Enumclaw; and Frank Nutter, president, Reinsurance Association of America, who will moderate the panel.
