News 14 Carolina - News 14 Carolina-Charlotte, which launched June 14, 2002, is available on Channel 14 only on Time Warner Cable. We were the seventh 24-hour news channel Time Warner had a hand in putting on the air, joining those in New York City, Tampa, Orlando, Austin, Rochester and Raleigh.

The 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week broadcasts cover news in Mecklenburg, Gaston, Cleveland, Cabarrus, Rowan, Stanly, Union, Anson and Richmond counties.

Our studios are located on the south edge of uptown Charlotte between the up-and-coming SouthEnd area and the tree-lined neighborhood of Dilworth.

This is a state-of-the-art totally digital broadcasting facility, and is one of only two in the state (the other being our sister channel, News 14 Carolina in Raleigh). Both are light years ahead of the traditional linear world of television news production.
