Wausau Daily Herald - The Wausau Daily Record-Herald was established on December 2, 1907, by consolidation of the Record and the Herald.

For more than 50 years, offices were located at the corner of Fourth and Scott Streets in Wausau. The company moved to its present location at 800 Scott Street in Wausau on April 14, 1958.

Since January 1975, the name of the paper has been the Wausau Daily Herald. In April 1980, the Green Bay operation, including the Daily Herald, was sold to Gannett Co., Inc., the largest and one of the most respected information groups in the U.S.
