Gov. Chet Culver has announced that Angel Robinson will become Iowa’s first insurance consumer advocate. Legislation adopted last session established a Consumer Advocate Bureau within the Division of Insurance. The Insurance Commissioner, after consulting the governor, appoints an advocate knowledgeable in the area of insurance and particularly in the area of consumer protection.
