ACLI Annual Conference Will Bring Life Insurance Industry Leaders to Washington, D.C. This Fall

WASHINGTON, July 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) Annual Conference will attract U.S. life insurance industry leaders to Washington, D.C. this fall. The conference, October 21-23, 2007 at the Omni Shoreham, will explore key legislative and regulatory issues affecting the industry.

The meeting, attended annually by more than 500 life insurance executives, is the premier conference for an industry that plays a vital role in Americans' financial and retirement security.

ACLI Chairman Thomas Marra, President and COO of Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., and ACLI President and CEO Frank Keating, will provide industry perspectives on the opportunities facing life insurers, particularly in light of the number of aging Americans and their need for financial and retirement security products and services. During the conference, Mr. Marra will pass the ACLI chairmanship to Dennis R. Glass, President & COO, Lincoln Financial Group.
