ET Networking equipment maker Verso Technologies Inc. said Monday it expects to post first-quarter revenue of $6.8 million, up 3 percent from $6.6 million in the year-ago period. The company said its revenue outlook does not include two large orders, totaling $1.7 million, which were placed during the quarter but will be reflected in upcoming quarters' results in accordance with the Verso's revenue recognition policy. The company plans to report its first-quarter earnings on May 4. Shares of Verso rose 4 cents, or 3.4 percent, to $1.23 in morning trading on the Nasdaq.
